Nuuk
Start your charter in Nuuk
Your charter will start in Nuuk, the world’s Northern cultural and diverse Arctic capital. The city is situated at the end of the Kangerlua Fjord on the Eastern shore of the Labrador sea. It is home to many historical sights and has a picturesque Old Harbour where you can find some colourful wooden houses nestled along the water’s edge. Visit the National Art Museum and spent the night onboard.
Quassussuaq
Your Itinerary to Quassussuaq
Once awaken, the crew will organise a hike for you to the Quassussuaq where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Fjord, the city and the mountains. If you are lucky, you might even catch sight of some whales in the distance. During your hike, you may also see some ptarmigan, foxes and hares. The hike will take approximately four hours. Once you’re back onboard the crew will welcome you with a served dinner and hot drinks.
Kangaamiut
Your Itinerary to Kangaamiut Island
Your itinerary will continue North to Kangaamiut Island. This area is the perfect spot for Heliskiing, enjoy an impressive 2 000m vertical descent while admiring the beautiful view of the long Fjords and mountains – most of the descents end at the sea’s edge.
The local population holds approximately 400 people, therefore a perfect gateway to relax and reconnect with mother nature.
Sisimiut
Your Itinerary continues to Sisimiut
Your itinerary will continue to Sisimiut, the second biggest town in Greenland.
Your crew will be pleased to organise numerous activities for you such as fly fishing for Arctic char in crisp rivers, hiking up the mountains to enjoy beautiful views of the Fjords, snowmobiling or some ice-diving.
Discover the beautiful marine life and swim with seals and humpback whales.
Aasiaat
Your Itinerary to Aasiaat
Cruise to Aasiaat, a small town set in the Disko bay and surrounded by thousands of small islands. The landscape is incredible. Disembark to visit the old quarter with the local hall and museum. It is the perfect spot for whale watching, take your yacht’s tender and get closer to see these beautiful bowhead whales. If you are lucky, you might even see some humpback and fin whales returning from their winter migration.
Ilulissat
Your Itinerary to Ilulissat
Navigate towards Ilulissat, which means icebergs. The most productive glacier in the Northern Hemisphere can be seen here.
The Fjord is filled with icebergs, you can hike in the hills or visit the nearby villages with city museums.
Try the local cuisine and enjoy your last night onboard before heading back to Nuuk for disembarkation.
