The name of this destination is already dreamy; a name with an undertone of perfume, hot and generous tropical islands where the fertile nature responds to a demanding sea. Fiji is 333 islands coated in forests, mangroves, white sand beaches, coral reef islets on a turquoise backdrop. This yacht charter destination is also characterized by its cities; its biggest, Viti Levu houses mountains where large rivers flow and isolated villages are nested, in an environment where tradition is preserved and life is peacefully lived whilst sipping on a coconut. On the coasts colourful houses, sugarcane plantations and multicoloured Hindu temples and mosques intertwine.
Start your journey in Viti Levu, the country’s main island; Mamanuca Islands will offer you 20 volcanic islands to choose from; popular and idyllic, the Yasawa Islands are tiny in size yet immensely beautiful; go hiking in the dense Waisali rainforest reserve on Vanua Levu; Taveuni is the third larget island and unique due to its volcanoes and waterfalls; the warm and clear waters of Somosomo are a perfect diving site; Lau Islands have plenty of adventures to offer; the rich history of the Lomaiviti Islands is fascinating; Kadavu & Suva contrast from colourful underwater reefs to scenic colonial architecture.
