Your itinerary will begin at Los Suenos Marina, a 25 minute helicopter ride from San Jose. This Marina is considered one of the best in the country.

You can find close by a golf course, spa and numerous bars.

Manuel Antonio

Your Itinerary to Manuel Antonio

Cruise towards Manuel Antonio National Park situated in the Quepos Region which is famous for its crystal clear waters and beautiful nature. Take your tender and disembark at the park. Follow the trail with a local guide and have the chance to observe squirrel monkeys, sloths and other animals in this gorgeous protected area. Take a swim and enjoy your lunch on board. Spend the evening in the Marina Pez Vela and enjoy the sunset.

Quepos

Your Itinerary to Quepos

Take the yachts’ tender and navigate towards the best fishing grounds in the world. Your crew can organise a fishing excursion for you. You can catch tuna, blue marlin, sailfish and Mahi Mahi.

Enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches and stop for a drink at a local Costa Rican village. Your crew can also organise a private river tour for you in order to watch the American crocodiles.

Drake Bay

Continue your charter to Drake Bay

Your charter will continue towards Drake Bay, which is nestled in a dense rainforest. Disembark at a small eco friendly resort village and enjoy the local cuisine. Navigate 12 miles West towards the Isla Cano known for its dense forest and clear waters. Snorkel in this protected Park and discover the colourful corals, manta rays and whale sharks. Disembark on the island and look out for Howler monkeys and freshwater turtles.

Isla Tortuga

Your Itinerary to Isla Tortuga

You will be leaving Drake Bay early in the morning to navigate towards Isla Tortuga, a protected area with numerous islets.

Enjoy the white sandy beaches and hike through the hills in order to enjoy the beautiful views over the peninsula.

Explore the Cabo Blanco area, known for Spinner dolphins and whales. Snorkel in the crystal clear waters and sunbath on the untouched beaches.

Flamingo Bay

Your Itinerary to Flamingo Bay

After an early breakfast cruise towards Flamingo Bay, situated on the Northern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Disembark at the local surfer’s village and enjoy some shopping and restaurants. Your crew will be pleased to organise a surf lesson for you. Hike up to the hills and enjoy the stunning views over the bay.

Spend your evening on board by watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand !

Culebra Bay

Your Itinerary to Culebra Bay

Cruise towards Culebra Bay, very well known for the Four Seasons Papagayo Resort. Enjoy the spa and play some golf. Have lunch in a top rated restaurant before going on a fishing trip. Accessible only by tender, navigate towards the West side of the peninsula and enjoy the palm-lined beaches and swim with different fish species.

Marina Papagayo

Your Itinerary ends in Marina Papagayo

If you are up early, trek at Rincon de Vieja and enjoy a swim in the waterfalls and mud pits. You can also discover the Arenal volcano trail surrounded by the rainforest.

Cruise to Marina Papagayo for disembarkation. You can find numerous flight options from the closest convenient airport (20 minutes car ride) or you can cruise back to Playa Herradura.

I wanted to create a special day on the water for our family and was happy to discover Loïc of Arthaud Yachting. Loïc immediately responded to my inquiry, asked me thoughtful questions, and then prepared a list of boating options, itineraries and costs. As I tailored our day and considered boat type, size, catering and activities, Loïc was always efficient in responding, and honestly impressed me that he took the time to read everything I wrote and make recommendations. I often expect people to miss a few of the details during busy times, so it came as a pleasant surprise to have him treat every aspect of our adventure with such care. The communication was excellent and timely, with everything going smoothly.

In addition, the day itself was perfect! We were delighted to join Captain Gaëlle and her Escapade crew for a relaxed day from the port in Nice, anchoring for an exceptional on-board lunch off the Iles de Lerins, with a final stop in Antibes. It was very easy to discuss routes and activities, and they were easily willing to make adjustments as needed to explore different areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time onboard the elegant and spacious Lagoon 560, visiting with the crew, learning many details about this special region, and left feeling as though we got exactly what we hoped from our day and more. We hope to return again!

Gabriele and all team were great at responding to our needs, answering questions thoroughly, and making necessary changes according to our wishes in the planning process.
