Longyearbyen

Your journey will begin in Longyearbyen, the main Svalbard’s settlement. It is a tiny metropolis with 2 400 residents. You will find a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a local chocolatery and brewery. Visit the Svalbard and the North pole Expedition Museums. Walk by the colorful Svalbard church.
Kongsfjorden
Your Itinerary to Kongsfjorden
After eight hours of navigation arrive to Kongsfjorden, a glacial fjord with a big biodiversity. It is the most beautiful one in Svalbard, surrounded by mountains and glacier fronts it shelters numerous species such as walrus, white whales, polar bears and seals.
This breath-taking landscape is best experienced from your yacht.
Danskoya
Your Itinerary to Danskoya
Cruise to Danskoya, an uninhabited island home to 3 000 polar bears. It is here that Salomon Andree once started his famous expedition to reach the North Pole with a hydrogen balloon in 1897.
Cross the 80th parallel which is famous for being only 620 miles away from the North Pole and you may catch a glimpse of the Nordaustlandet island.
Leifdefjorden
Your Itinerary continues to Leifdefjorden
Your cruise will continue to Leifdefjorden, a beautiful Fjord where you can use your tender for an escapade around the ice fields to appreciate the amazing beauty of mother nature. It is also home to Polar Bears. If the weather conditions are favourable, disembark and go hiking on a glacier, chances are you may even meet some arctic foxes, seals and whales.
Lagoya Island
Your Itinerary to Lagoya Island
Cruise towards Lagoya Island for approximately six hours. The island is called “Low Island” due to it being very flat and having a snow-covered tundra. Its small small lagoons, lakes and multicoloured quartzites for colourful stripes and make the scenery just stunning. This island is home to bears and walruses, no bears are present on land, take this chance to disembark and go for a hike.
Hinlopen Strait
Your Itinerary to Hinlopen Strait
The Hinlopen strait is situated between Spitsbergen and Nordaustland. It is a gorgeous place with a diverse wildlife and rich in history. The island consists mostly of dolerite intrusions and dark basaltic rocks. The landscape is very varied with large coastal plains and old beach ridges. Once disembarked you might catch sight of some old whale skeletons.
Edgeoya Island
Your Itinerary continues to Edgeoya
Edgeoya was discovered in the early 17th century by whalers. The island can be reached after an 11-hour cruise from Hinlopen strait.
It is the third largest island in the archipelago and is part of a Natural Reserve. It shelters reindeers and polar bears.
Enjoy the views over the wide plateau-shaped mountains and open valleys.
Hornsund
Your Itinerary to Hornsund
It will take you 15 hours of cruising in order to reach Hornsund, the most Southern Fjord on Spitsbergen Island. The area features beautiful bays, glacial valleys and mountain peaks. You might meet some reindeers and artic foxes when you disembark for a hike. This Fjord has been home to the Polish Polar Station since 1957. The station collects the atmospheric electricity and monitors the air and water environment.
Longyearbyen
Your Itinerary back to Longyearbyen
It will take you approximately 9 hours of cruising to head back to Longyearbyen.
Enjoy your last day onboard and depending on your flight time, disembark and enjoy a last walk in this colourful small town.
You can have your lunch or diner at the Gruvelageret restaurant located in an old mining hut.
