Caleta Porcelana
Your Itinerary starts in Caleto Porcelena
Your itinerary will begin in Caleto Porcelana, 30 minutes away from the International Airport of Puerto Montt. Your cruise will start by heading South through the Seno Reloncavi Solend and Camau Fjord. Enjoy the view over the dramatic landscapes and mountains filled with thick forests. Cruise towards the 22 mile inlet and anchor for the night.
Isla Mechuque
Your Itinerary to Mechuque Island
Cruise towards Mechuque Island for approximately three hours through the most beautiful chain islands of the country – Islas Chauques. Upon your arrival, you will discover some colourful wooden houses built on stilts. This area is a UNESCO world heritage site portraying different cultures and traditions. Visit some small wooden churches and explore the rural life.
Bahia Pumalin
Your Itinerary to Bahia Pumalin
In the morning once you start your navigation towards Bahia Pumalin you might be lucky and see some See Blue whales and penguins.
After two hours of cruising discover the beauty of the Pumalin Nature Reserve in Caleta Gonzalo. Disembark and enjoy a hike through the majestic falls and Patagonian forest.
Isla Cailin
Your charter to Cailin Island
Your charter will continue towards the Cailin Island – one of the three small islands located in the Corcovado Gulf. Enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches and freshwater lagoons.
This area is also perfect for salmon fishing.
Your crew will be happy to prepare lunch and dinner for you with your catch of the day.
Melinka
Your Itinerary to Melinka
Head South towards Melinka through the beautiful Guaitecas archipelago made up of eight main islands and numerous smaller ones. The most exciting of all is the Gran Guaitca island where you can discover the humpback whales, dolphins, penguins and sea lions. Cruise by night to Ascension island and anchor next to the Melinka town, the administrative centre of this commune since 1979 which was founded in 1860 by a German Immigrant.
Puyuhuapi
Your Itinerary to Puyuhuapi
After breakfast, navigate through the canals with high peaks and waterfalls towards the South .
Disembark for a walk and hike up the hanging glacier in order to take a swim in the hot springs.
You will be able to discover a variety of exotic birds, seals, dolphins, beavers and black neck swans. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the water toys proposed to you on-board.
Caleta Christiane
Continue your charter to Caleta Christiane
Start cruising early in the morning towards Caleta Christiane and enjoy the view of the maze of islands surrounded by volcanoes and waterfalls. Your captain will choose a perfect stop for anchorage and lunch. Upon arrival discover a beautiful waterfall flowing down into the bay. You can also disembark and go for a hike in the forest.
San Rafael
Your Itinerary to San Rafael
You will be leaving Caleta Christiane around noon and cruise towards the San Rafael Glacier, one of Patagonia’s best sights. Use the yacht’s tender in order to access the glacier from a lagoon. Discover this impressive 70 meters high block of ice. Fun fact, as a result of climate change, scientists believe that in the past 136 years the glacier has shrunk by 12 km and might disappear by 2030.
Puerto Aguirre
Your Itinerary to Puerto Aguirre
Cruise back towards Puerto Aguirre for approximately six hours.
Have a stop on your way at the Marmor Caves which can be reached by helicopter. It is one of the most isolated natural treasures of the world. Once you reach Puerto Aguirre, you will discover a small fishing village known for its delicious seafood. Enjoy the local large mussels cholgas, salmon and sea urchins.
Puerto Chacabuco
Your Itinerary to Puerto Chacabuco
For your final charter day, cruise towards Puerto Chacabuco and enjoy the view over the mountains with snow-capped peaks. You can stop by the nearby town of Coyhaique which has a craft market selling handmade items.
You can continue your travels from Santiago or Balmaceda airports situated close by.
